IF YOUR KAHLO HAS BEEN REJECTED
When it comes to authenticating paintings or drawings we always think of wrong authentications. Works that were not authentic but had been considered to be authentic. What happens just as frequently is for authentic paintings and drawings to be rejected when in fact they are authentic.
This is to say that authentication mistakes happen in both directions. Wrong authentications and wrong rejections.
One has to be open minded about rejections considering the enormous number of mistakes that have been made in the past.
If your painting or drawing has been rejected as a Kahlo and you have reason to believe that it is authentic, please submit it for review. We will re-open the case and re-examine everything with a completely open mind.
